Stevie Brown, 27, will be joining his fourth NFL franchise since being drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the 2010 draft as a seventh-round draft pick. He has also played for the Indianapolis Colts and New York Giants.
Adding the veteran safety shores up what has been one of the Texans thinnest positions, and gives the Texans another option in the starting backfield alongside former Denver Bronco Rahim Moore.
