Houston Texans’ fans — it’s just about that time and there’s just a few weeks before the start of the NFL Draft to which from the latest reports, it still will be going as scheduled. Although it will have a sense of hollowness without fans in attendance and likely not having players walk across the stage to get their picture with Commissioner Goodell, the business can still get done.
What’s really going to hurt is that teams won’t be able to bring players in for workouts because of the current travel restrictions in some areas of the country as well as 2/3rds of the United States being on some sort of stay-at-home or lockdown order in response to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
