The Houston Texans had the league’s worst offensive line in 2019. This, of course, comes after the 2018 season in which they were also amongst the league’s worst. The team retooled, to some extent last offseason, but it was clearly not enough.
The Texans addressed both the interior and exterior offensive line when they signed Seantrel Henderson, Zach Fulton, and Senio Kelemete. Unfortunately, Henderson went down with a season-ending injury week one, Fulton didn’t live up to his contract, and Kelemete was just a mess.
Because of these signings, the fact that the team didn’t pick until the third round, and their faith in Julie’n Davenport, the Texans opted to only add Martinas Rankin through the draft.
