The Houston Texans have until 3 p.m. CDT today to trim their roster from 90 players to 53 of them. This is different from past seasons where they could trim to 75 players after the third preseason game and now teams are just able to make one large cut — 37 players — to meet NFL guidelines.
It’s never an easy decision for the Houston Texans as this affects guys lives but it’s certainly a decision that has be made to the best of their ability. Not much happened in the name of roster cuts yesterday but there were a couple of notables.
