Houston Texans Release Rahim Moore

The Houston Texans have released safety Rahim Moore, according to John McClain (Houston Chronicle).

Rahim Moore, 26, played in just 7 games in his first season with the Texans.

The former Denver Broncos safety signed a three-year, $12 million contract just a year ago, but was benched for DB Andre Hal halfway through the season. The change was necessary and immediately improved the defense immensely. Moore took terrible angles to tackles and was constantly beat in coverage which was evident in beatdowns against the Falcons and Dolphins.
