Jerell Adams spent a short amount of time as a free agent as he re-signed to the Houston Texans’ practice squad. Selected in the sixth round of the 2016 NFL Draft by the New York Giants, Adams spent his first two seasons in the Big Apple. Adams started in three of the 29 games he played with the Giants before being released and joining the Texans.
Adams makes a return to the Texans practice squad after having a previous stint in 2018, where he offered enough upside for the Texans to agree to sign him to a future/reserve contract to remain in Houston.
