The Houston Texans are back to 53 players on their active roster with the signing of inside linebacker Josh Keyes. The Texans PR announced the transaction on their official Twitter account. Keyes was signed by the Texans in the offseason and he spent the entire training camp and preseason with the team. Keyes had a solid preseason contributing both in the defense and special teams. He had a combined of 23 tackles and made plenty of plays in the preseason.
The Texans have now filled their last roster spot after placing wide receiver Demaryius Thomas, inside linebacker Brian Peters, and cornerback Kayvon Webster on IR.
