Houston Texans re-sign Jon Weeks, Safety Mike Adams calls it a career

Houston Texans will bring back Pro Bowl long snapper Jon Weeks to an extension according to Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle. Weeks has been one of the mainstays in the Texans organization since signing with them after going undrafted from Baylor in 2010.

The former Baylor long snapper holds the franchise record of being active for 160 games since his arrival to the league and could prolong it once the regular season starts.

Weeks was named as a Pro Bowl alternate this past season and is still considered one of the better players at his position across the league.
