The Houston Texans have announced that they have placed tight ends, Jordan Thomas and Kahale Warring on the injured reserve. Thomas was expected to miss significant time after suffering cracked ribs against the Los Angeles Rams in their fourth and last preseason game. This is a piece of disappointing news for the second-year player from Mississipi State after he finished his rookie season with 20 receptions for 217 receiving yards and four touchdown receptions in 2018.
Thomas’ four touchdown receptions were tied for the most in franchise history for a rookie and was expected to have a bigger role with the departure of Ryan Griffin in the offseason.
