Houston Texans pick up fifth-year option for Will Fuller

According to John McClain of the Houston Chronicle, the Houston Texans have opted to exercise the fifth year of wide receiver Will Fuller’s rookie year deal. Fuller is expected to earn close to $10.1 in his fifth year in the NFL. Texans general manager Brian Gaine decided to pick up the option ahead of the May 3rd deadline for NFL teams to exercise the fifth-year option for their first-round draftees.

Fuller has seen success early in league with his speed and crisp routes; his biggest issue to date has been his ability to stay healthy.
