Houston Texans OL Laremy Tunsil has lofty goal for next contract

Houston Texans left tackle Laremy Tunsil has been one of the most imposing offensive linemen in the NFL this season. Now, he wants to get paid like it.

Tunsil, who recently received the third Pro Bowl nod of his career, told ESPN earlier this week that he wishes to be the highest-paid offensive tackle in the league when he signs his next contract. Tunsil has one season left on the three-year, $66 million extension he signed in 2020, but plans to renegotiate his deal this offseason, per the report.

"I don't know who's the highest right now, maybe Trent [Williams] at 23 [million], but I want to top that," Tunsil told ESPN.
