Houston Texans’ offense can be deadlier with Jordan Thomas’ return

The Houston Texans have activated their three-week window for tight end, Jordan Thomas, to practice with the team after being placed on the injured reserve at the start of the season with cracked ribs. Thomas was expected to be included on the final roster for the season opener against the New Orleans Saints after a solid offseason program with the Texans. He will have the opportunity to return to the active roster if he shows significant progress from his injury.

Texans will have to make a roster move to bring Thomas to the 53 man roster, so the three-week window can allow them to take their time to make that decision.
