The Houston Texans have signed their second rookie draft selection in former Florida Gators edge rusher, Jonathan Greenard, to four-year deal according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. Texans selected Greenard with the 90th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. Greenard was one of the better pass rushers still available on the board in the third round for the Texans.
Transferring from Louisville, Greenard made an immediate impact in his lone season with the Gators despite dealing with a wrist injury by finishing with 52 tackles, 15.5 tackles for loss, three forced fumbles, and leading the SEC with 9.
