Though the Houston Texans are away from their usual practice facility this week as they are having joint practices in Green Bay with the Packers, there is still a lot of work being done. Rookie Max Scharping is starting to be noticed for his work ethic, which is a good sign for the franchise.
Following Monday’s practice, Texans head coach Bill O’Brien held a press conference with the Houston media, and one of the topics of discussion was the progression of second-round selection (55th overall) Max Scharping.
Deepi Sidhu of HoustonTexans.com, in a “notes and quotes” Day 9 training camp article, the Texans insider and lead writer quoted O’Brien with the following comment on Scharping:
“He’s doing a really good job for us,” O’Brien said.
