Houston Texans head coach Bill O’Brien announced Friday that Keke Coutee will make his debut this Sunday versus the Indianapolis Colts. Coutee — a 2018 fourth round draft selection — will probably be forced into a significant role as the starting slot receiver Bruce Ellington was placed on the IR earlier this week.
With the Texans struggling with health at the wide receiver position, seeing Coutee finally have the opportunity to contribute to the offense will be a welcomed sign. It’ll be interesting to monitor how well he progresses in his first game as he makes the transition from college to the highest level of competitive football.
