The Houston Texans are bringing back veteran defensive back Kayvon Webster to the active roster after he was placed on the IR for a quadriceps injury. Webster was signed in the preseason to reinforce the secondary but he was still working his way back into football shape after tearing his Achilles the season prior playing with the Los Angeles Rams.
Webster made his awaited debut with the Texans in Week 5 against the Dallas Cowboys but he didn’t play much after getting hurt early in the first half. The Texans ended up preferring to activate Webster over cornerbacks Kevin Johnson and rookie Jermaine Kelly Jr.
