The Houston Texans long snapper, Jon Weeks, has been selected to his first career Pro Bowl and will join wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins and defensive end J.J. Watt as representatives for Houston.
For Watt, this is his fourth appointment whereas Hopkins is a first-timer like Weeks. Watt finished the season with 76 tackles and 17.5 sacks. Hopkins had a breakout season as he finished with 111 receptions for 1,521 yards and 11 touchdown receptions.
For long snappers, like Weeks, they often go without recognition, which in their line of work means they’re doing things right.
