It did not take long for the Houston Texans to move defensive end J.J. Watt and undrafted rookie outside linebacker Jamal Lewis from the Active/Non-Football Illness list to the active 90 man roster. Watt was in great spirits throughout the Texans first day of training camp and seemed in great shape after undergoing a minor knee procedure early in the offseason.
Texans are in no rush to push Watt back into the football field until he is good and ready to contribute. Watt is coming off an impressive season after his season was cut short in 2017 due to a tibial plateau fracture that required surgery.
