The Houston Texans have begun the process of finding a new general manager after firing Brian Gaine yesterday afternoon. Gaine was relieved of his responsibilities as the general manager after being hired in 2018. According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, Texans have brought in Ray Farmer for an interview, Farmer has been working in the NFL front office since 2002.
After a knee injury ended his career as a linebacker with the Philadelphia Eagles in 1998, Farmer ventured into the NFL front office in the capacity as a scout for the Atlanta Falcons from 2002 to 2005 before being hired as the director of player personnel for the Kansas City Chiefs.
