Houston Texans Injury News: Tom Savage Clears Concussion Protocol

Houston Texans coach Bill O'Brien handled his normal barrage of questions at his Monday press conference this afternoon. One of the first questions he answered was about quarterback Tom Savage's status. O'Brien announced that Savage had cleared the NFL's concussion protocol.

Savage, 26, exited the Texans' Week 17 game against the Tennessee Titans following a quarterback sneak. Savage was ordered off the field after he slowly rose following the play and was taken back to the locker room.
