It’s your newest batch of Houston Texans injury news following Houston’s loss to the Carolina Panthers.
The Texans highly paid kicker Ka’imi Fairbairn started the season off on the injured reserve with a groin injury, leading to Justin Reid kicking off in a preseason game. In his place to start the year was former Panthers kicker Joey Slye. Fairbairn is expected to return from the IR this week and return to his rightful throne.
The Texans had been without third safety A.J. Moore. Houston has been running with Reid and Eric Murray has their two high safeties, with Lonnie Johnson Jr.
