The Houston Texans plucked their first win of the David Culley era with a win over the Green Bay Packers. Houston didn’t escape from this entirely clean. Houston suffered two injuries in their first preseason win.
After trading Randall Cobb to the Green Bay Packers, the Texans quickly found depth in former second round pick Anthony Miller. Houston picked up Miller and a seventh round pick, for a fifth round selection in 2022. Miller, Alex Erickson, and Keke Coutee were expected to compete for the slot wide receiver position.
Miller was carted from last week’s game with an apparent shoulder injury.
