The Houston Texans announced shortly after their wide receiver Demaryius Thomas was injured in the field of play that he had injured his Achilles in his left leg and was out for the season. The Texans faced more bad news as they announced that the second player that was designated to return from the IR, cornerback Kayvon Webster was injured again against the Philadelphia Eagles with a thigh injury. Webster was placed on IR alongside inside linebacker and special teamer Brian Peters today.
Peters had been dealing with an ankle injury for the majority of the season and it had kept him sidelined for multiple weeks throughout the regular season.
