The Houston Texans continued their march toward the first pick in the 2023 NFL draft on Sunday, as a relatively strong finish wasn't enough to overcome an all-around awful first half.
Here's a look at the good, the bad and the ugly from the Texans' 30-15 loss to the Miami Dolphins, as well as initial grades for Houston's performance on offense and defense.
The good
Strong finish: After getting dominated 30-0 in the first half, the Texans at least made things somewhat interesting down the stretch—albeit with backup Skylar Thompson filling in for starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa for the final quarter and some change.
