ESPN NFL Insider Field Yates has reported that the Houston Texans former wide receiver, Demaryius Thomas is signing with the New England Patriots after being waived by general manager Brian Gaine and the front office in the offseason.
Texans acquired Thomas from the Denver Broncos in the NFL trade deadline after Will Fuller was ruled out for the rest of the season after undergoing surgery to repair an ACL tear that he suffered against the Miami Dolphins.
Unfortunately, the trade didn’t go as plan as Thomas tore his left Achilles against the Philadelphia Eagles in the second to last game in the regular season.
