One of the hardest days in the NFL has passed. The day where teams have to trim their rosters from 90+ players down to 53. The Houston Texans got this process started early on Friday by trimming down about halfway to the maximum 53.
There were some surprising cuts like Shane Lechler or even Braxton Miller. There were also some surprising keeps that the team made. But, I’ll talk more on those later in the week. Several other teams had some similar moves that also rattled some fanbases.
However, the silver lining to all of these cuts is that guys get new opportunities with new teams across the entire league.
