Injuries along the offensive line have sadly become a reality for the Houston Texans. They spent the first half of the season shuffling players along the line to figure out who fits best where as they tried to patch up the injury-plagued unit.
Unfortunately, the team will have to start the post season making the same adjustments as it has been verified that starting left tackle Duane Brown will undergo surgery for a quad injury he suffered in the first quarter of the Texans’ Week 17 win against Jacksonville.
Brown is the best player along that line, so obviously no one can replace him outright, but the team has brought in a tackle to give them some depth as they hope to make some noise in the playoffs.
