According to Aaron Reiss of The Athletic, the Houston Texans are expected to bring veteran free agent cornerback Trevor Williams in for a workout. Williams is the second cornerback the Texans bring in for a workout after E.J. Gaines came to Houston early in the week for a visit of his own.
Williams signed with the Los Angeles Chargers after going undrafted in 2016, he started in 27 of the 39 games with the Chargers but injuries a role in his time in Los Angeles. Williams dealt with a string of knee injuries the last two seasons that placed him on the injured reserve.
