Way back in 2015, the Houston Texans hired Mike Devlin to be their offensive line coach. Since then, Brandon Brooks, Ben Jones, and David Quessenberry, left the Texans to become better players in Philadelphia and Tennessee. The Texans brought in free agents Jeff Allen, Zach Fulton, and Seantrel Henderson, only for them to become worse players than they were in Kansas City and Buffalo. Houston also drafted Nick Martin, Julie’n Davenport, Martinas Rankin, Tytus Howard, and Max Scharping, none of them lived up to their potential, and two of them were traded before their rookie contracts came to an end.
