Losing Aaron Colvin to an ankle injury could be a huge blow for the Houston Texans defense as they were able to land Colvin in free agency this offseason from the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Texans inked Colvin to a four-year $34 million deal and he has been a solid addition to the defense and was easily one of best cornerbacks the team had on the roster. Colvin ranked seventh on the team with 17 total tackles before the injury on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts.
The Texans are struggling with health at their cornerback position with Colvin possibly being the second starter at cornerback to be placed on the IR as Kevin Johnson was already placed on the IR this season
