Houston Texans: 5 players whose stock is rising after preseason Week 1

Preseason football is a hard thing to judge. Sure, the Houston Texans beat the San Francisco 49ers 24-13, but the starters were less than inspiring. That doesn’t mean that nobody stepped up though.

Here we will look at five players who made a positive impression and now have their stock rising.

5. Josh Lenz, WR

Again, judging preseason football isn’t easy but wide receiver Josh Lenz had a solid outing in Week 1. Lenz finished the contest with three receptions for 52 yards. All three of those catches came on one drive in the second half and were good for first downs.
