With the NFL easing its restrictions on the usage of alternate helmets, Moon noted that there is no longer a hold-up to breaking out the iconic Columbia blue uniforms and oil derrick logo helmets. And unfortunately for fans in Houston who still have a sore spot over the Oilers' departure, Moon hinted the Titans could wear the throwbacks when they face the Texans.
"I talked with the owner about it. She was waiting for the helmets to be approved," Moon said. "Now that you can wear the helmet, we're wearing the whole uniform this year—and it could be against the Houston Texans.
