Ever since J.J. Watt was announced as the commencement speaker for University of Wisconsin's graduation ceremonies, he promised he wouldn't write a speech and instead, speak from his heart.
The Texans star delivered on Saturday, although it didn't necessarily get off to a smooth start.
"When I was first asked to be the commencement speacher ... jeez Louise, great job, J.J., there we go," Watt misspoke in the first few minutes of his speech. "Maybe I should have wrote it down."
Watt nailed it the rest of the way in his nearly 23-minute speech - which you can watch in its entirety here - even mentioning Houston several times.
