Healthy again, Texans' Lamar Miller feels rejuvenated for playoffs

When the Texans' coaching staff first broached the idea to Lamar Miller that he should be held out of the final two games of the regular season as a precautionary measure to get him fully healthy for the playoffs, it didn't initially hit him the right way.

Now, Miller is glad that decision was made as he feels rejuvenated heading into the Texans' AFC wild-card playoff game after resting his ankle against the Tennessee Titans and Cincinnati Bengals.

"When the coaches told me I'd be resting, it was tough at first just not going to battle with my teammates," Miller said Tuesday inside the Texans' training facility.
