Free Safety Stevie Brown Visits Houston Texans

The Houston Texans may not be done in free agency despite a long cooling off period since bringing in several players early on in free agency. One position they already addressed was safety, with the signing of former Denver Bronco free safety Rahim Moore.

Despite having Moore and returning starter at strong safety, D.J. Swearinger, the Texans still brought in a safety for a visit this week, former New York Giant safety Stevie Brown, per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Brown was originally drafted in the seventh round by the Oakland Raiders in 2010 but never really made his mark until a breakout season in 2012 with the Giants, where he recorded 8 interceptions and had over 300 yards returned on those picks.
