The Houston Texans had one of the worst secondaries in football last season. Andre Hal was the only competent player on the roster. Marcus Gilchrist, whoever else played strong safety, Kareem Jackson, Johnathan Joseph, Kevin Johnson, and whoever that guy was with braids who got burned or was called for a penalty on every play, combined with a sad pass rush to be one of the worst pass defenses in football. With Whitney Mercilus, and maybe J.J. Watt coming back, the front seven should be better. But the front office has to upgrade the secondary this spring.
Houston will have the cap space to do it.
