Baltimore Ravens cornerback Tray Walker, a former Texas Southern standout, was pronounced dead Friday afternoon from head injuries suffered during a motorcycle accident , according to his agent, Ron Butler.
Walker was 23 years old.
Walker was in intensive care after undergoing surgery for massive head trauma at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Fla.
"Heart breaking," Ravens offensive tackle Eugene Monroe wrote on Twitter.
"I just heard the news," Ravens wide receiver Marlon Brown wrote on Twitter. "I can't believe it. I was just with him two weeks ago. That was like my little bro.
