Former Texans players still alive in the NFL playoffs

The Texans season is over, but the playoffs are still very much alive for several former Texans players.

Of the eight teams still playing, seven of them have a former Texans player on their active roster. The Rams are the only team missing that Texans flavor on the field, but their defensive coordinator is Wade Phillips, who is a familiar face to all Houston sports fans and spent time as a defensive coordinator and interim head coach with the Texans.

The best former Texans player still playing is Eagles offensive lineman Brandon Brooks, who has made two straight Pro Bowls after leaving the Texans via free agency.
