Former Texans Keith Mumphery, Max Bullough go unclaimed

Officially cut by the Texans on Monday, wide receiver Keith Mumphery and inside linebacker Max Bullough went unclaimed off waivers Tuesday.

They are now unrestricted free agents who can sign with any NFL team.

Mumphery was released by the AFC South champions days after police documents revealed that he had been expelled from Michigan State and banned from campus for a sexual misconduct violation. He wasn't charged with a crime.

Mumphery is a former fifth-round draft pick who caught 24 passes for 198 yards and returned kicks in two seasons with the Texans.
