Former Houston Texans offensive coordinator George Godsey is interviewing for Alabama’s offensive coordinator position, according to Bruce Feldman of FOX Sports.
Word is, another former Bill Belichick protege, former Houston Texans offensive coordinator George Godsey, has emerged as a strong candidate for the ‘Bama OC opening. Godsey is close with Tide offensive line coach Brent Key.
Godsey worked with the Texans from 2014-16 after coming over with head coach Bill O’Brien from the New England Patriots.
Alabama is of course looking for a new offensive coordinator after Lane Kiffin took over as Florida Atlantic’s head coach.
