Glen Ray Hines, who made two AFL All-Star games with the Houston Oilers, died Friday at the age of 75.
The Oilers drafted the University of Arkansas All-American offensive lineman in 1965, and Hines went on to start 41 games at right tackle for the Oilers from 1966 to 1970. Hines went on to play two seasons with the Saints and one with the Steelers before retiring in 1973.
Hines made the AFL All-Star game - the equivalent of the NFL's Pro Bowl - for the Oilers in 1968 and 1969.
Hines was the anchor on Arkansas' offensive line that helped the Razorbacks win a share of the national championship in 1964 with Alabama.
