Former Oilers cornerback Greg Stemrick, a starter for coach Bum Phillips during the Luv Ya Blue era, died of a heart attack Tuesday in his hometown of Cincinnati.
Stemrick, 64, played nine seasons (1975-82) in the NFL, including eight with the Oilers. He started in a secondary that included cornerback J.C. Wilson, free safety Mike Reinfeldt and strong safety Vernon Perry.
