Take this in the spirit it is offered… My theme for 2016 and in particular this holiday season has been to lighten up and enjoy the good things, take whatever action I can to change the bad things, do my dead level best to prepare to handle the things I cannot change and try try try to ignore the rest.
The tricky part is that whole “take whatever action” thing and discerning the effort/effect threshold that defines the cutoff where things fall into that “things I cannot (reasonably) change…” bucket.
