Charles James II took a break from trying to make the 2015 Houston Texans to tangle with Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham, Jr. in “Madden ’16.” This preview of the season’s fourth episode of HBO’s “Hard Knocks” shows you a bit of their matchup.

This week’s trailer for the latest episode of “Hard Knocks” showcases perhaps the player who qualifies as “the breakout star” of this year’s edition–Charles James. HBO has done a good job highlighting James’ passion for football and socks, and James himself has done a good job making a strong case for winning one of the Texans‘ precious 53 roster spots.
