We got a good look at the former eagle last night on Hard Knocks, including his personal life with his mother. It’s good to know that McNair, consistently, keeps good, hard-nosed players with great attitudes, and a good work ethic to add. And this guy…is a bruiser.
His hangup? He played behind a certain running back in Philly that limited both time on the field and practice reps.
However, what Polk does do with the carries he’s given is the main attraction. O’Brien figuratively thought that Polk ran for 120 yards against the Texans….reality shows it was only 50 on 8 carries…but the impact of HOW Polk plays has made a lasting impression.
