Former Texans security coordinator Jeff Pope has filed a lawsuit in federal district court against the AFC South franchise, according to court records.
Pope, who was fired on May 8 after being hired in 2017, is seeking unpaid overtime, damages and attorney fees under the Fair Labor Standards act, according to the lawsuit filed on his behalf by Houston-based lawyer, N. Lucy Chukwurah.
The Texans have no comment on the litigation.
