Former Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Jaydon Mickens is visiting the Texans on Thursday, according to a league source not authorized to speak publicly.
Mickens wasn't tendered as an exclusive rights free agent.
Mickens played collegiately at Washington and went undrafted, signing with the Oakland Raiders.
Mickens was placed on injured reserve in October after fracturing his ankle.
In 2017, Mickens was promoted from the practice squad and returned a punt for a touchdown 63 yards against the Cincinnati Bengals.
He later had a 72-yard punt return against the Seattle Seahawks and was named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week.
