Deshaun Watson making progress in OTAs

After two weeks of organized team activities (OTAs), Texans head coach Bill O'Brien lauded the rookie quarterback's work ethic, and explained one of the biggest challenges he's faced.

"He’s gotten better every day," O'Brien said after Wednesday's practice. "I think the hard part about this week is there’s more snaps in the red zone where things happen a lot faster down there. That’s always something that takes a rookie quarterback probably the longest to learn how fast things happen down there."

Defensive lineman D.J. Reader , a college teammate of Watson's in 2014 and 2015, has seen the first rounder put in the same effort on and off the field as he did back in South Carolina.
