The legal timeline for Deshaun Watson doesn't align with the NFL calendar, but teams desperate for a quarterback apparently are OK with that, according to a report from Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio.
Citing a "source with knowledge of the situation," Florio reported Thursday that "multiple teams are indeed willing to make (a trade for Deshaun Watson), as long as the criminal situation is resolved."
That's a change from the thinking ahead of last November's trade deadline when Watson was trying to settle the 22 civil lawsuits filed against him that include allegations of sexual assault during massage sessions.
