Houston Texans cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. earned his first career All-Pro selection this season. Stingley thinks one of his fellow Houston teammates could secure the same honor in 2025.
Stingley raved about the performance of rookie cornerback Kamari Lassiter during Monday's end-of-season meeting with the media at NRG Stadium. Lassiter joined the Texans as a second-round pick out of Georgia in the 2024 NFL draft, then hit the ground running as Houston's starting second cornerback in Week 1.
Stingley and Lassiter started the season as a rising star and an unproven rookie but quickly turned into a lethal cornerback duo, one that opposing quarterbacks often had trouble completing any sizable portion of passes against, outside the numbers.
